Here is my recent vitamin D3 experience. My usual is 10-20 thousand units daily, along with K2 and magnesium supplementation. I neglected this for ten days, plus was eating a junky kind of diet and more alcohol. To read my 24" monitor on my desktop computer, I had to wear my prescription eyeglasses.

I went back to my healthy diet, but still had to wear the prescription eyeglasses. After three days of this, I went back to (added on) my usual D3 program. The next day, within 24 hours, I was able to read my computer with my made in China, cheapo eyeglasses. Which are 1.50 magnification. Which I prefer, because, whatever..... I am wearing them now. So proper D3 is good for your eyesight. I use no vitamin A pills or supplementation. Except what might be in cod liver oil.

I ate D3 + K2 with a meal today that included fats. This is best for D3 absorption. Sometimes I take 20,000 units D3 + 2 K2 gel caps, along with a teaspoon of cod liver oil. On an empty stomach. I figure this is the best way to absorb D3 and K2. K2 is a fat soluble vitamin, too.
