IMHO you are far too modest. That still puts you streets ahead of almost all politicians, civil servants, "public health experts", and Big Pharma execs. In other words, pretty much everyone responsible for public health decisions, and specifically the hideous pig's breakfast they made of our societies.
I expect that you are highly numerate, that you have a scientific and practical attitude to learning about the natural world, and that you are logical.
If more people with your abilities and qualifications took leading roles in public discussions, we would all be far better off.
